  1. You guys were another really good group. There did not seem to be a lot of hesitation. The clip added into the slide show was nice (but wish it had audio).

The Battle of Matewan was all new info to me, so the whole presentation was new info to me.

  2. You guys really know your stuff on the Battle of Matewan. I really didnt know the detectives were one of the reasons why the battle started. I also didnt know that this battle was one of the bloodest battle. I like the video but as Holly said it would of been cool to have audio.

  3. I liked your guy's presentation because you did well by interacting with each other. Instead of a speech it was more like a conversation about the battle. I liked the movie clip you played as well.

  5. Your presentation was put together nicely and the video added a nice element to show the train station. Nice job on relaying the information to us and presenting it in an understanding fashion.

  6. Good topic, it really gives a feel for what the people were feeling and what was happing around the time. Your power point needed some colur, but your pictures were a good use. Smile- Have fun in what you do!

  7. I agree with Holly, it would have really added to your presentation if the video had audio too. I think that at first you both seemed kind of nervous, but as your presentation went on I think you both got more comfortable being in front of our class. I didn't know anything about this battle, but you guys did a good job explaining it.

  8. I liked how you two worked together well and could talk it out with eachother. The movie clip was very good as well, just wish it had sound.

  9. You guys were obviously very knowledgeable about your topic, the history leading up to the Battle, history of the town, information on who was involved, that was all very well thought out. I wish the clip also would have had sound, but it added an element even without the sound. The pictures you incorporated were great and talking about the effects on other places in the United States as well as unions today and such was very helpful!

  10. Good job guys, very interesting and great accompanying facts. Was the mayor related to the infamous Hatfields and McCoys? or was he just some random Hatfield?
