  1. I learned a little about FDR during my presentation and during The March of Dimes presentation. I find it extremely interesting how he still served his terms and didn't let his illness effect him the way others would have. They mentioned how FDR didn't give off the 'stern father' impression, instead he was like a friend. That's what we need in office, a person who is willing to do what's right for us as a country, not just take control. I found it interesting about how republicans hated him but democrats loved him. He was the reason for the term limit and that is historical.

  3. I really liked your presentation and thought you did a great job. I thought that it was interesting when Lauren brought up the fact that if he wasn't so disliked that maybe we wouldn't have a term limit for presidents.

  5. You guys seemed to know your information very well, didn't really have to refer back to your cards, which makes a presentation easier to follow along to, felt like you knew what you were talking about.

  6. Everyone already knows a lot about FDR, so I am sure it would be hard to make a presentation more interesting, but you guys did a good job making it interesting. You did a good job of pointing out what was iconic about your topic and you explained it well. I liked how note cards were not a big thing in your presentation but I was really drawn more to your slides because there was a lot of reading.

  7. I learned a lot from your guys presentation. I didn't know that he was the reason there is a limit on the number of terms a president could serve. You guys did a great job getting all the information across, your power point was also very helpful.

  8. Lauren, you did a really good job at explaining in the end when Mike was asking questions.

Overall, the presentation was good. The famous quotes on a slide was a nice touch. FDR was very well known for his public speaking. My biggest issue was with the mention of Pearl Harbor. The attack was actually December 7, 1945. But that's really the only thing I am calling out.

  10. I think it was obvious that FDR would be hated by so many - especially the republicans - because he was a man who was truly about the people, not power and political gain. Good presentation guys!

  13. You gave a good presentation, but you counterdicted your self - what you said and what was on your slides did not match up.

  14. Great job, I think you could have expounded more on his younger years and family life, but aside from that you did a pretty solid presentation.

  15. This was a good presentation and I liked how even though you had text on the slides, it not the same information that you were telling us from your cards. I never really thought of FDR being so iconic but now after your presentation I do.
